Twilight storms in the pits of your eyes
and you said to me.
The earth now cries but love's eternal embers ripple for eternity."
Heavens shall bear witness, to these truths to set us free.
Our will, that dances as far as the land retreats.
Earthquakes pound our hearts under the pestle
of the gods, and shakes at the trees.
Cyclones dissipate ceaseless boundaries (between us),
Washing away bloodshed and calamity.
Pandemic blooms at our feet, as our world succumbs to greed,
I plead.
Can we wipe away the blindness toward sacred harmony?
Humanity?
Before we find our true demise, beyond enemy lines,
reflections of our kind.
I find,
within the web of time
peace exists somewhere
between the pines,
the jewel waiting deep
inside the
mine/minds.
