Love Like The Sea

Divinity swallows what came before you,
and swells right after.
You said you could hold my waters,
I trickled into your palms,
drowning in waters of emotions,
where I stand stranded at depths,
that could never meet your shores.
We met down at the shore,
our hearts danced in eddies
back and forth
we tumble,
tangle and stumble,
parted by realities
that forever blind us,
like the sun staring
at the edge of the horizon,
and upon ever cusp of a wave,
My currents follows your blows,
and I bleed from lies you told of
love that coated your veins,
like the breeze you'd escape into.
My heart engulfs your absence
pulls at you like a meandering
rip tide and Mama sea pushes
against my spirit with her stern waters
Upon the horizon you peered at me
I found I could no longer suffer in god's gaze,
and with all these things he made
I just couldn't cry while watching god.
So I pour back into the sea,
the only thing grand enough to contain me
She swallows my storms, and
breathes live back into me,
She caresses me and points to the sky.
"With a heart so grand,
a love so big those eyes,
even the heaven will pour over
in fits of your heart's demise.
And. I. shall. hold. you.
Tides will tremble as you walk
back from my shores.
Love will trickled to and from you,
But, it needs to be free to
flee or flow
come or go
wither and grow
Never to cease
Fester and Bleed
Wrestlin' against the tides,
still, soften that shell 'round that
beatin' heart ol yours
So I can pour more fight in you.
You have everything you need
to be free
Just keep on lovin' like the sea.
